Who are Crua Tent?

Crua was founded in 2015 on the rugged west coast of Ireland by Derek, an engineer who had spent years working in insulation and technical design, and who kept waking up freezing in tents that had no business calling themselves shelters. He wasn’t looking for a business opportunity. He was looking for a decent night’s sleep. The result was the world’s first properly insulated tent — built with patent-protected CruaBreathe™ technology, tested in Irish coastal weather that doesn’t forgive shortcuts, and launched through Kickstarter to a camping community that had been waiting for exactly this without knowing it.
